A kinda difficult day...

J'ai vraiment fait la tete aujourd'hui jusqu'a maintenant.

I think my dad said something very profound by advising me to get enough sleep. Last night, I had a very teenage-bonding moment with Pierrick - we both got out our laptops and shared photos. His girlfriend is kinda gothic - I mentioned earlier that their relationship really reminds me of my relationship with Paul, but not because either of us were ever anywhere near "gothic". It's just very young. I listen to the song that used to be "our song" and it makes me smile, but seriously, it's so...in French on dirait gamine. That's the perfect word to describe it. Gamin, gamine. Yeah.

Anyway - I stayed up pretty late sharing photos and songs w/ Pierrick, but then I got an email from BYU's EFY office saying that they want me to interview with them! That made me extremely excited, but seeing as I am a billion miles away from anybody, they'd have a pretty difficult time phoning me. So I called the EFY office, and we arranged an email-rendez-vous thing for an interview. Yeah.

I tried to call Trevor but he never answered. I guess he was either in class, or doing something. Imagine that - other people do stuff. It put me in a bad mood, and I had nightmares.

Today was okay. Pierrick and walked around Rennes, I got to see my favorite street - the French Revolution started on the next street over. Later we ate La Raclette. I found myself longing to speak English with someone; I felt a little bit lonely.

Anaelle and I went on a bike ride. She reminds me of Ella Challis. We played for a long time.




I am absolutely American.

Pierrick is my best friend here, but...yeah. He's a little bit 18. Oh well. At least our conversations warm up the mind a little bit. I miss mind-expanding conversations. We had a file-sharing party later on; it expanded my music library at least!
